Located in Fairfield, NJ, Cricket Hill is one of the original craft breweries to hit the Garden State and has managed to stay in business for more than sixteen years.
Founded in 2000, Cricket Hill has been brewing a number of high-quality beers with the flagship being its East Coast Lager which is available on draft and in bottle for the discerning palate. The brewery has a solid selection of year-round beers including Hopnotic IPA, Overhead Imperial IPA and Head High Pale Ale.

The Most Fun Microbrewery in New Jersey for Several Good Reasons
In conclusion, the most enjoyable part of my visit was chatting up the friendly staff and comparing notes with the other patrons about the best beers in the area. While I did not sample their bourbon aged hoppy stout, their beers on tap were very drinkable and enjoyable. It was also a pleasure to watch the aforementioned brewers at work. The most impressive thing about the facility is the number of fermentors it utilizes, which is no small feat in the crowded microbrewery environment.
