The food here is incredibly good. The ambiance is wonderful and the service is excellent. It is a hidden gem of the Marina district. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. The crepes are outstanding, and the eggs benedict is fantastic. And don’t forget to order the Pavlova for dessert! You won’t regret it.
It’s not hard to see why this restaurant is a favorite in the area. Bohemian is one of those restaurants that you hear about and then try to get into. There’s no sign, it’s speakeasy style, and the only way to get a reservation is by knowing someone who has dined there before. This exclusivity might seem pretentious, but it’s really just an added bonus to the experience of this idiosyncratic and cozy restaurant.
The Montclair Girl recently had a chance to chat with Sally Monterrosa, the founder and owner of both the Boho Cafe at 113 Watchung Ave and the Boho Hair Salon at 111 Watchung Ave in Montclair. Sally and her family currently reside in Matawan, but they have always loved the charm of Montclair and decided to open their business there. We wanted to learn more about the two businesses that have quickly become recognizable by their beautiful boho-chic aesthetic and find out what Sally likes most about being an entrepreneur in Montclair.
